Text Formatting in Meeting Notes/Assignments, etc

It would be really helpful if I create text and format a message or an assignment for a student in Word or Google Docs if the formatting didn't change when I copy it to CM. I lose the font, the bold text, underlines, etc.
The ability to copy a hyperlink and give it text rather than the full url would also be a helpful feature to add.
